Smart Lipo

Since the growing recognition of smart lipo has increased its acceptance, many potential patients are not sure whether they should have conventional liposuction or the less invasive fat removal modality which requires only local anaesthesia. Smart lipo also has a faster recovery time because it causes less internal damage due to the elimination of manual agitation of the equipment under the skin common in conventional liposuction. With the only minor bleeding of smart lipo there is almost no swelling or bruising meaning that the patient can resume a normal life in a matter of days as opposed to months. The small tube called a cannula is inserted under the skin and the laser filament in it breaks the membranes of the fat cells. The liquefied material generated by smart lipo is drained off by a combination of the lymphatic system and the doctor’s equipment. The heat of the laser causes the body to produce collagen which naturally fills the now empty areas rendering them firm and shaped. Smart lipo can treat a number of body areas where accumulated fat is known to be resistant to rigorous exercise and proper diet. In women these are primarily thighs, hips and buttocks and sometimes neck, chin and upper arms while in men the most common areas for smart lipo are front and side abs, back and torso. Each area can be treated in an hour or less on an out-patient basis so it the best option for getting rid of stubborn deposits of fat.

Smart Lipo

Is smart lipo a good choice for you, well it can be under the right circumstances for example if you are not heavily obese and just want to shed a certain pocket of fat that you are finding impossible to get rid of. Doctors recommend that heavily obese people do not try this procedure as it will not help, it will just come back at a faster rate. Also with this you will have stretch marks that will be nigh on impossible to remove. However as I said before if you are just trying get rid of a little pocket of fat then this is perfect. You do however need to keep exercising as this is the key to not gaining it again. If you on the larger scale then your best bet is going to be regular liposuction and in small stages, as this will reduce the amount and severity of the stretch marks. The best bet is to go and do small liposuction operations, slowly removing the fat little by little, as this will give your skin long enough time to go back to its original size. The difference between smart lipo and regular old liposuction is that smart lipo is done with lasers melting the fat, whereas the liposuction procedure is an operation, and can only be done under the knife. That’s the little bit of information I have, hope you enjoyed it. I’m sure it will come of some use.
